Up top is the latest in fashion for your cob a lucite stem longer than standard but not as long as a churchwarden.
Below is a very old MM that I got from Ace. Still has advertising that I couldn't get a good shot of , featuring a 5 digit Ph. number.

If at first you don't succeed you are running about average.

Awesome! I love the look of that lucite stem on the top! Well, I'm waiting on my cobwarden stem, but methinks I'll be gettin' one of those mid-range lucite stems at a later date...

Could you do that top stem in a 4" length with the same material/color as my LOTR cavalier you made for me?

Those look great! I don't smoke cobs enough to need one though. I don't think I have smoked my cob in a few months. Hmmm.....

Very nice work indeed! It is great to tweak things to our satisfaction! And I like lucite for its ending of oxidation worries.

Very nice Arthur! Those stems definitely make the cobs look so much better.

The new stems do look great, lets you dress a cob up to take out on the town. When I get a new cob I will have to see about getting you to do a stem for me. Most of the cobs I have now have been beat around fishing and hunting to were it wouldn't make much sense to dress them up.
