My meerschuam is coloring nicely. It is a floral design covered in grape leaves and little grapes. Occasionally I get little bits of dirt in the crevices of grapes and leaves. Mostly ash, etc. just specks. Do I pick them out? Soft toothbrush? Or leave them be, as this is part of the patina?
I know neurotic question, but someone here knows the exact right answer!

Canned air! Of course. Works accept in the deepest cracks. I'll gently try a toothbrush.
