Anyone tried this with a buffing wheel? Every pipe I own has finger prints on it etc as I cannoned be bothered to hold it by the stem. I have always figured that by the time it goes brown it will eradicate any marks I am ever going to leave on the bowl. Any thoughts gentlemen?

I wouldn't recommend it, you could use some ultra fine sand paper but no telling how much material would have to be removed then re-wax it, I just wash my hands before smoking and handle like any other pipe, I used to worry about every little mark on them but have come to realize no matter careful you are it with get marks.
