Thanks to lonestar, I have two amber stem pipes that I have never smoked, mainly because I don't know how to clean amber, if anyone knows, please let me know. Thanks Jerry

Hey Jerry, I just went with what I found online, which is dish soap and warm water.

Both stems were cleaned that way, and should be ready to smoke.

I drenched pipe cleaners in dish soap and spent 30 minutes or so running them back and forth through the stem, and rinsing in between with warm water.

Be sure to keep the stems cleaned out good after a smoke, it was tough to get just a little bit of old tar out of them.

Thanks Ryan, I knew I could count on you. I didn't want to smoke them and not know how to clean.

I will use Everclear and Brebbia bit polish. Always use a small diameter Pipe cleaner. Never use a shank brush, bristled Pipe Cleaners or the big fluffy Pipe cleaners. Amber will shatter without warning, so be careful not to be in the least bit forceful.
