I have a roll up tobacco pouch I got from the B&M shop before they closed from a starter kit (the pouch, cleaners, pipe, and a pipe nail)
I was wondering how people keep the insides clean? just a damp something (like bandana, paper towels, wash cloth)?

    I never cleaned it either.

My Peterson pouch had a latex liner that eventually disintegrated over time so I just ripped it all out. I now use a zip-lock "snack bag" in the pouch and replace it as needed.

AH, cool. I've had this pouch since February and it's getting rather discolored, I think my pouch also has the rubber latex liner in it (so far condition is fine) thanks for letting me know!

I normally keep everything in a snack bag inside of the pouch. It helps to keep things from drying out and keeps the pouch clean.

I keep a couple of those two dollar roll-ups that I carry tobacco out on the lake
with. They become soiled after a while. I just toss them and get a couple more.

Mine, I've had for a good long while.
It has a mesh strip in the bottom.
That allows the tobacco dust to escape into the a area behind the actual tobacco pouch.
I just pull the pouch part forward and pour out the dust... and that's about it.

I think I'll just use a damp cloth (with distilled water) to clean it once I get snack bags. that way I can also keep more than a couple ounces of one blend in my pouch while I'm out n' about.

+1 venturer and spartan, $2 pouches could come in handy and Lawrence's is something I'd probably be more than willing to pay for.
I have a Columbus roll&snap pouch with latex lining. I haven't cleaned it yet, but then I only carry latakia blends in it.

I carry all sorts of baccy's in my pouch. Hence one of my concerns for cleaning my pouch, I have the same style that you have erichdaumer, though it's a "no name" variety, what do you expect from a kit?
