Christmas Cheer, McC's annual and ever changing commemorative virginia, has quite the cult following amongst Virginia lovers. McC has been doing this for decades, with each years version being different from all previous years. So, my question is p: what's your favorite year and why? I'm genuinely curious as to whether there is any kind if consensus on what the best years were, or if everyone will have a different favorite.
My fave CC vintage was 2005. For one thing, the tobaccos were from a 1997 crop and 1997 was a very, very important year in my life. Also, I found that vintage to be exceptionally sweet and spicy, with lots of subtle Christmas favors mixed in with the traditional McC "ketchup"-- cinnamon, nutmeg, plum, etc.
