How long is this usually available before it sells out? I'd like to pick up 5 or 6 tins in my next TAD purchase...

It will usually be around for a few months sometimes you can find tins still in the summer.

So it's safe to bet that in two weeks I'll be able to get a large number of them. Thanks! :puffy:

Thanks! I have been watching it for almost a month and the release of Christmas Cheer 2012 was all the push needed I suppose :D

Unfortunately I just pick one up, and put it away till the following Christmas, where my 4 brothers-in-law and father-in-law enjoy it. This is the first year with 2011 stock. so I am ready for Christmas 2013.

Its good to smoke now and I guess is designed to start getting really flavorful around Christmas. Its really good with a year of age on it and generally pretty kick ass with five years. It ages really well.

MC Virginia....oh yeah! Outstanding blends, IMHO...I have some

2011 I'm gonna smoke this Dec and gonna try and snag some

2012 for aging...Just give it enough dry time (I find 12-24 hours works

best for me)

I just received a tin of Christmas Cheer 2013 that was tinned in July. Already I'm kicking myself for not ordering another to put away. I won't open it till December to let it age some. Should I not open it till 2014?
What is your experience with the annual vintages? From what little I've read 2002 seems to be a very good year, any others?

The entire vintage is tinned in July and many vendors still have it. Crack a tin now if you want but I would sit on the rest for at least 6 years.

werdna, I opened a can of 2012 in Jan. of this year and it was great. It actually got better after being open in the tin for a few months (I'm just now finishing it up). But the tobacco is from the 2008 crop, so it was already aged a bit, albeit not in the tin. The obvious solution is to buy a few more tins  -- one for now and some for later.
