I heard about this the other day; a truly awesome day for that kid. It's just too bad Robin has to drive. Take the kid to an empty parking lot and let him do some donuts at least. It's the batmobile for crying out loud.

It’s wonderful there is an organization that can arrange something like that for such an unfortunate child. Now if only we had well-funded organizations that would actually identify and expose the true causes of these diseases.

Every year the local Make A Wish Foundation here in the Lehigh Valley takes a lot of kids to the airport for a plane ride to the North Pole. US Air donates a plane and they take the kids and their parents on a 30 flight. By the time they return the terminal is decorated like the North Pole and Santa give gifts to all of the children.

There is still a lot of good in the world; it just needs to be in the headlines more often.
