First of all - big thanks to everybody who were involved to make Chicago Pipe Show 2014!

Great show, beautiful people, amazing pipes, tasty tobacco! :)
Please share what you got.
Bad for me, I had tiny budget, and I had to miss few great pipes I really wanted. Good for me - found gorgeous new-unsmoked-old-stock Savory's Argyll bulldog #73; also picked few Missouri corncobs, one for myself, tow for friends as "Hello!" form the Show. Never tried corncob pipes before.

OK, I'm jealous I don't get to try that Semois...yet. Glad you had a good time and the Savory's looks like a great pipe. Enjoy and thanks for sharing.

I'm assuming a lot of our members were there today, this place has been uber-quiet.
I look forward to feeling jealous once more pics get posted.

I was just exchanging emails with Brian/Pat. He/They are almost home and sounds like they had a great time and have quite the haul.

This was my first show and I was very impressed. As others have said the best part of the show is the people -
I was not planning on buying any pipes :) ,my plan was to just look for a couple of carvers to commission panels.
Pat from MM was so wonderful to talk to - She even gave me an extra ticket they had to the diner. The cobs both are great smokers!
I found a Chacom Geante 360 Panel - I have a weakness for French pipes
A 1985 Ashton LX Panel was calling me all day I wanted a Bill Taylor Ashton so that came home with me.
I did commission a panel , and will be calling a second carver this week for another.
There was no shortage of talent at the show. It was great to get to meet the carvers and have a smoke with them.
If you can get to a show , it is worth the time and cost.
