I grabbed this on Tuesday the minute I saw it. It is a beauty.

I did not used to think that I liked this style, but I have definitely changed my mind.

Bing seems to have only smoked Canadians up through about 1940.

It is quite large. It is 6.75" with a 2.4" stack.

What do you recommend I smoke in this one?

Wow, that is a stunner. Well done, sir. That pipe is begging for a flake although I have a friend who has several of that shape and smokes ODF in his. If you're an aromatic smoker C&D's Crooner would be appropriate too. Good luck with it and enjoy.

My only 'rotating' Canadian is a meer lined briar marked St James, which I believe to be a Barling's sub and it will burn anything I put into it with aplomb. It really does nicely with flakes.

I have an open tin of ODF. I have been rubbing it out. Should I try fold and stuff for the first time? Or stick with rubbing out?
