I stopped in a B&M today, and on the counter they had three varieties of "Chacom" brand tobacco. I didn't buy any, but it appears to be more tobacco aimed at beating the August 8 deadline. The tins looked like C&D or McClelland tins, so I'm guessing one of those two actually did the manufacturing.
Has anyone even heard of these? I can't find them for sale online. I can't find the brand even listed on tobaccoreviews. And I don't recall anyone discussing these here, or mentioning them from the recent Vegas show.
Anyone know anything about these?

I haven't seen it at a shop, pipe show, or online. There are so many circuitous ways blends get marketed, it doesn't surprise me. I had an apple brandy aromatic from Brebbia that was pretty good; it may still be around. The flavoring wasn't overbearing and the base Virginia tobacco was good. There are thousands of blends but even more names under which they're marketed.

Royale sounds promising. Great price point too! Though, I think I'll wait for Jiminks's's's review.
