Hi, I'm new in town. I am curious if people think it is a good idea to cellar these oriental blends. I am in Canada and was able to buy them recently despite McClelland being sold out of pretty much everything in The States. They cost about $45 each (normal Canadian price) but I've started buying from the US and can't justify smoking them now.
Do Orientals age well? I think I will keep them in the tin and sell them to someone with a more discerning palate in a few years... Or perhaps smoke them myself if I think it's worth it by then.
If not maybe I will try to get rid of them in a shorter time frame.
Thanks!

I have a tin of Classic Samsun from 2007 open right now. It holds up well and aged very nicely. My favorite in the group is still Yenidje Highlander but those are both great.

Hell yes! Cellar both if possible. They are awesome blends and age well. I grabbed as much of the oriental stock as possible Once I knew McClellands was closing.
