If you are looking for a sturdy English blend in a bulk tobacco that hasn't received much ballyhoo but has a nice robust flavor, you might want to try Cornell & Diehl's Stratfordshire, a black Cavendish, Latakia, Oriental, and Virginia blend, full strength and full taste. Right now smokingpipes.com has C&D bulk for 20% off, so if you are scoring some old favorites like Pegasus, Epiphany, Billy Budd or Old Joe Krantz, you may want to add two or four ounces of this. It's sure to please many if not all English blend lovers with its sturdy flavors. It could be a little heady for new smokers, so you might want to try an ounce or two.

Stratfordshire may not be a Lat-bomb but it definitely qualifies as an English blend by most standards. I prefer it to many over-hyped tinned blends available from other houses.
Thanks for reminding me to add to this month's order.
