In another thread mcl mentioned that Castello production has moved to France. Can anyone shed light on this development?

What if Castello really did do that?
Would the general reaction be the same as with many people saying the Italian Danish Design are equivalent to the Denmark Made pipes?
Would the French made Castello be just as good as the Italian one?
