Hi,

I just noticed that about 25 of the threads on the "most recent" list have titles that violate Rule #9 regarding proper capitalization.
Have the mods given up on enforcing the rules?

That would be a proposition! The use of whom would imply that you have an idea 'whom' it might be whilst the use of 'who' would suggest any number of possibilities for deductive reasoning. Example: Watson and Holmes go camping and they are about to go to sleep Watson says "Holmes old boy look at all those stars and the infinity of the night sky. What does it mean Holmes?". After short pause Holmes answers Watson by saying "Means? It means someone stole our tent you idiot".

No, it's far simpler than that. "Who" is a subjective case pronoun. "Whom" is the objective case form, and is the object of the sentence.
