I have two tins of 3P that I purchased earlier in the year, but I have yet to try it. Perhaps I'll give it a whirl and if I like it add another five to the cellar. I heard recently the tin was redesigned and is now circular in shape.
At any rate...glad to hear you liked it!

Having tried my fair share of 3P I still prefer the nutty grassy notes and hay-like qualities of 2P better.

I smoked a tin of 3P's a few years ago. All I can say is that I liked it, and haven't smoked anything like it since.

Funny you should mention this tobacco, but I just had a bowl of 3P in my little Peterson Kapruf this afternoon. I really like the robust flavors in this tobacco, although I find I can't smoke that big of bowl of it as it has a fair nicotine kick. Other wise, one of my favorite Peterson tobaccos.

trailboss, University Flake never seems to burn right for me. It was one of the blends I kept trying as I learned over the last few years. Maybe I will have to revisit it. De Lux Mixture has given my the most consistent smoke of any tinned aromatic.

I also have a tin of 3P's I picked up a few months ago. I think I will give it a try tomorrow morning. @Orley, your comment about the nic has me a little worried though.

sparks, if you read the reviews it's some sort of "fruity" casing. Im not sure if thats the casing or the Malawi Burley. I have noticed that Malawi has that fruit punchy(scientific term) taste. It is definatly sweet, but also a big tobacco. It's like a scottish ale if your into beer drinking.

It is a hard plug, I like to slice it thin, almost to a ribbon.
The fruit topping is not overly done. I get a nice spice from this tobacco. It is unique and worth a try.
