Blackpool and Ramsgate were two the first tobaccos that I smoked. I enjoyed the subtle unsweetened, natural licorice notes.Since Esoterica blends have either become unicorns or too expensive for me, are there other blends that you'd recommend that are similar?

    Thanks, G

Any of the John Cotton's blends available from Pipes and Cigars or 4 Noggins for like $12 a tin are pretty good I hear!

Thanks. I am not really a fan of MIX #79... the thing with the esoterica blends is that you didn't even know there was a licorice element unless someone pointed out - or unless you were really experienced.

Please tell me more about those John Cotton Blends.

Also here, Jiminks give Count pulanski 4 stars.

If you regularly check marscigars they have stuff like ramsgate and blackpool for 24.99 when it stock, and they seem to get the estorica's in stock pretty often.

I believe the beeches in Cornwall and Devon are quite nice and attract a better class of tourist visitor!

Germain's plumcake seems to always be in stock many places.
