That is a really nice billiard. I am not really into straight pipes but i would have this one. My Ardor smokes like a dream. They are art in your hand.

That is a real pretty piece of smokery. I don't always love the bamboo either but this one looks great.

If I ever win a big jackpot at any casino, I will buy you that pipe!

My odds of winning anything at a casino are 1 in 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000.

Especially with the run of crap luck I been running into as of the last 15 or 20 years.

My cloud is blacker then black.

But, That is one hell of a pipe! I love it.

Man, I want an Ardor so bad! I'd just either have to prostitute myself or let my house go into foreclosure in order to afford it.

Huh, smoking pipes.com doesn't have prices that are too bad. This one would only set me back a car payment. http://www.smokingpipes.com/pipes/new/ardor/moreinfo.cfm?product_id=86823

Not crazy about that shape but LOVE the finish and accent choices. The blue just sets that finish off. I love Ardor's liberal use of colour and ornament but im not a very big fan of huge flamboyant freehands. Ardor puts out a semiclassical pipe now and then and they always tug at my wallet strings. I was going to pull the trigger on a sweet little Ninfea pot with that blue/orange tortise shell stem earlier this year. Of course, as soon as I decided to throw financial caution to the wind and buy the coveted pipe...poof it was gone.

I'm about to prove just how girly I am - but that Ardor with the blue accents would match a certain set of earrings I have PERFECTLY.

You really should do it that way. A big part of selecting a pipe is how it "looks on you".
That applies to men too! For example, a tall Canadian billiard would look out of place in a short, stumpy guy's mouth.
And a tall, Lincoln-esque guy could probably do better than smoke a squat bulldog.
Of course, a lot of shapes are selected on the basis of when and where you smoke. Deeply bent pipes provide the needed
leverage when both hands are busy while working, etc., so they're easy to clench in the teeth.
Color and finish? I probably wouldn't choose a blonde wood pipe from the rack for evening smoking.
