I search ebay for "Austria pipe" every few days and this strange dog pipe always comes up. Can someone with some extra cash just buy it already so I don't have to scan past it? :roll: :D

Austrian hunting pipes are of that style. Google it, they are pretty neat, and an ancient design.

It's an imaginative carving, but at that price I'd like to see a lot more accomplished carving rather than just a hotdog shape grooved with some dog features. Not that I'd invest that amount in any case. That's what Dunhill wants for it's standard Group 4 and I'm not the least bit tempted.

It does remind me of those toys you used to be able to buy at Disney World that looked like you were walking a dog. Maybe this is for people who want to lunt in bad neighborhoods with the protection of a vicious dachshund. ::
