@instymp Yes, I walked behind one of these things. They are getting rare to find, so I snagged it last time I was down.
Most likely this one wasn't used. We were pretty rough on them. There were some that had just rotten away. The tobacco barn isn't in much better shape either, since my folks started getting paid to NOT grow tobacco.
As I get closer to retirement, I have been considering returning to NC, and maybe getting into the gourmet tobacco scene... or artichokes, LOL. The pay subsidies for not growing aren't exactly lucrative. Last I checked it was like $100 (approx) a month. Most have chosen cattle now a days anyway.
But, as I get into the hobby, I am finding a fascination with the idea of growing.
