Just popped a tin of C&D Billy Budd Blonde. The tin arouma was sweet Virginia that turned sour when I smelled again. Read the tin...It said it contained bright VA, white Burley, chopped cigar leaf, and perique. The tobac was a little wet.I loaded it into a Belle Starr cob. I fired it up and tasted the VA and perique. Retro exhale tingled the nose with perique. As the bowl progressed the Burley and cigar leaf took a front seat. Guess I was smoking too fast and the bowl got a little bitter...Slowing up solved this. The cigar leaf and burley flavor remained to the bottom of the bowl. Only one relight needed. No goop or moisture was seen at the bottom of the bowl. The nic hit was definatly on the medium side. The tobac needs a little more aging. The tin was labeled 12/18. Overall a good smoke. Will try it in a briar next.
