Is it possible to clean clogged, non-working butane lighters?
I have two old butane lighters. One was working briefly, but I believe a deposit may have worked its way loose and clogged the line somewhere. It was working fine but now I can hear only the faintest hiss of butane escaping. The other lighter is identical and has never worked as long as I've had it, and I think it might be clogged also.
I removed all the fittings and was planning to give one a soak in some naptha, hoping to dissolve any buildup, but will I be wasting my time?
Does anyone have any experience with this sort of thing and have any advice to offer?
Thanks!

I was able to clear a Lotus by using a can of compressed air. It took a bit of work and about a whole can of butane but it worked. I've never taken a lighter a part with success.
