I recently purchased some Uhle's tobacco (blend 00 and perfection plug). It's my second round of Uhle's, and for some reason I don't recall these blends biting as bad as they are now. I love the smell and flavor, but the bite is becoming a deterrent. Would mixing these with Carter Hall help with the bite without sacrificing flavor quality?
I could certainly try this, but I was curious if anyone has mixed high quality burley with OTC blends (and liked the result).

I would tend to go with just the Carter Hall rather than combining these. A fairly good burley is Burley Without Bite by Lane.

I tend to mix most of my bowls. PA and carter are two of my top mixers due to availability and cost.
I will sprinkle some of my latakia bombs into the mix for a nice addition to either of those.

As mentioned by mso489, Lanes BL/WB is a great burley

without the bite that you can buy in bulk.

I smoke it everyday, great tobacco to have in your rotation.

I'm pretty sure you will enjoy it.
