I really like the chunky, squat old American pipes by Custombilt, BP Jum, etc. I've looked around for new pipes in that style with no luck - anyone have any leads on new pipes built like a bilt? If you don't know what I'm talking about, here's a link to an old Tom Howard that typifies the style : Tom Howard Pipe

Love the carving on that little pipe, but boy, it's a heavy one for a short pipe. There are machine

pipes around that are short and squat, but I take it that you are looking for hand-carved artisan

pipes. I'll post again if I see someone who does a series or selection of those.

I'm not totally opposed to machine pipes in the vein of Sav, Peterson, Stanwell, etc. if you know of any models in that style.

I have several Custombilts, but only one Tom Howard, smoking it now fine little big pipe LOL
