Hi everybody. I'm Jack. I live in SW Florida and have been smoking pipes for years, but just got into restoring old pipes that just need some love. Just another way to enjoy the hobby!

I have a pipe that's stamped "Brooks 699" that I can't find anywhere. Seller thought they were ordered in the 40's when Brooks Bros were looking for a tobacco license to sell tobacco, and by extension pipes.

Has anybody heard of that pipe?

I found an ad for Brooks Brothers pipes they don't mention the maker for their shop pipes. They also offered Comoy pipes so draw whatever conclusion you may.

    Blowin' smoke since 1970.

Cheers, lads. Gives me an idea of the provenance of the pipe. Will keep researching.
