He was such a nice guy, I always enjoyed talking to him at shows, especially the New Orleans Show.
Although we had talked at shows before, it was at New Orleans that we had dinner and drinks and I learned more about Chip. I will miss seeing him at shows. Rest in peace, Chip.

I met Chip only a couple times, but watching smokingpipes’ All Pipes Considered video blog broadcasts reinforced my sense of the man. Friendly, intelligent, gregarious yet soft-spoken, and a gentleman. I’m sorry that I didn’t get to know him better. Godspeed, Chip.
