Anyone have one of these?

Does it smoke well?

What do you think of the thicker stem?

Great sturdy looking pipe. It might be pretty heavy; I didn't see the specs. But if you want a big durable (heavy?) pipe, this might be it.

Drwatson bought one a year or so ago and compared it very favorably to older British rhodesians (Comoy's, GBD) of which he was very familiar with.

I’ve been itching to get my hands on one, alas all the ones that really catch my eye are gone before I can pull the trigger. I have had a Briarworks given to me before and it was a superb smoker above it’s price range IMO but it wasn’t a shape I smoke so it didn’t stay in rotation. I wouldn’t hesitate to pull the trigger on a bullmoose though and will when one presents itself and catches my eye.

So I ordered a Bullmoose, smooth finish with light stain, when P&C ran their 20% sale.

It arrived today and I must say I like the looks of this pipe! It is a beauty.

It does have some heft to it, but it is not unwieldy.

I can clench it if need be for short periods. I like the feel of the stem.

However, It is not for the piper who clenches most of the time.

I would love to smoke the pipe right now. Unfortunately I have a lousy head cold.

Wouldn't ya' know it.
