Terry ,James and his brother who is a lawyer has a fishing camp where I retired for a while, his brother handled the sale of the Condo I bought, being a reader of James I brought some books and he had his brother sign them. He has a way with him that I like very much, just read his new one set in the West, he does that good also. Little sidebit I was vacationing at my fishing camp in the fall, always took a month off to fish specks and redfish, wife was in Baton Rouge and he had a signing at Clatiors , called my wife and asked her to get his new book and get it signed, long story short he tried to make a date with her, tickled her to no end. Their family has been in New Iberia for a long time. I think he , just gets better and better. By the way his daughter is a writer also.
I have read a fair bit of his stuff. Great stuff in that particular genre.
My favourite in that genre is Lawrence Block, but Burke is up there, no question.
