By C&D....

Comes off like Briar Fox Cake soaked in rum

Not necessarily a bad thing.

Same strong VA loaded with ' N ' very similar character

A bit more subdued in taste but a kick nontheless

Rum is a good ingredient; adds without taking over the tobacco. Haven't had

this blend, but like C&D. Lately enjoying their Pegasus, and aging some

Riverboat Gambler.

I like Blockade Runner. Not an every day smoke for me but great for when I want something a little different. I especially like it as a last smoke before bed. I bought it on a whim awhile back and really enjoyed it. Probably not one I would cellar, but I'm sure I'll have the urge to smoke some again to break up the rotation a bit. I enjoyed it in a small tankard to really concentrate the flavors but not overwhelm the palette with a long smoke.

This was the first non drug store tobacco I smoked. Couldn't tell you much about the highlights of it but went through the tin pretty quickly!
