So I received Tinderbox Syrian http://pipesmagazine.com/forums/topic/tinderbox-syrian in the karma giveaway and I think I should mix it with something because it is just straight Latakia. While not a bad smoke i think it could be a little more mellow. I also received Tinderbox mature VA. Do think mixing these would result in a good smoke? What proportions to start with? I have a good digital scale and a little less than an oz of each tobacco. Maybe toss a dash of Larry's blend for some cyprian and orientals?
