Hi Brothers and Sisters of briar - it has been awhile since I have visited the site, I hope everyone has been well.
I figured I would come back with a thunder, and some MAJOR pipe candy for everyone - A BIG thank you to my brother of briar Mark Balkovec for making me this bad arz Devil Anse design - This was a birthday gift to myself and as always Mark's work is stellar. I own several of Mark's designs ( cutty, ring of fire, etc. ), all works of art and a true honor to own and smoke.

That's the best looking Anse I've ever seen.

I've had Mark on my radar since having seen him in a video on youtube when he got together with Jake Hackert and some other folks and saw how competent he was from that.

I'd say he's probably one of the most capable of all these well known pipe makers.

There's a growing list of excellent craftsmen/women.

(some) Pipes are functional art. The good makers are artists.

I follow Mark's work on FB and he is doing top notch stuff! The lines on his pipes are IMPECCABLE!

Mark is an incredible pipe maker, and I'd loved to own one of his pipes one day. I'm not a big fan of the Devil Anse pipes, but he did a good job with this one. Enjoy.
