Well after a log week in hell I got some great news. The 3 emperor pipes I won on eBay came in today as well as my 4Nogggins order.all 3 pipes are in good shape should not take much to restore them but I do get a strong aromatic smell of of them.smells sweet.
I will post pics soon.

I've never heard of Emperor pipes, but they have nice grain. Can't wait to see them cleaned up, too. Nice finds, riptide!

I gather from the "Pipephil.eu" / logos website that Emperor was a brand of the Empire Pipe Co., and American manufacturer.

I finished the Bulldog yesterday it was my first ever Restoration.

I am smoking 1Q in ti right now. I think when the De Luxe is done it will go into Secret Santa.

I take it from the Citadel washes that I see in the background that you must paint miniatures? I've never been that heavy into RPGs, but always loved the art and miniatures. Used to paint them for friends who used them in play.

The Bulldog is one of my favourite styles of pipe and the one you restored is a fine example! A great job for your first pipe project.
I also remember the Citadel paints from my Blood Bowl playing days
