Looks promising. I'd love to beta test. As an it guy, I jump on these usually. I've been carrying a Mac lately.
Are you involved ? If so, is there a Mac OS version coming that you know of ?

Looks cool! I just sent an email on the Contact Us section. It was a bit hard to do but I finally beat the random question. It accepts briar with a lowercase b but not Briar with a capital B.

If anyone has applied in the before this post could you please re-apply as our website setup has just finish and the last thing the webmaster did was set the email portion to smtp which is required on our server. There any emails sent in the past 30mins probably didn't go through.

Carl, while briar works as the answer to the random question, you still get two identical Argument #1 is not an array errors on the next page:

FYI if you want to be a Beta tester. You will get an email saying you should be able to see the Beta forums now. Log on to pipesmokerunleashed.com and you'll see the Beta testers forum. The download link is in the email entitled Beta Is Go!! It is a .zip file. If you don't have a way to unzip it, download WinRAR from here WinRAR
Remember to then install the latest patch, B5 as of this writing. It is found in the B5 Now Avaiable sticky post in the Beta forums. If you get an error message when testing the software, Carl will need:
Where you were when you got it.
What you did to produce it.
A cut and paste of the entire error message.Happy testing!

I tested the beta project for this baby - and I encourage any hobbyist to give it a try if you like inventoring your collection - whether it be pipes or tobacco. It is very, very well put together.
However, for me - I just didn't want to be that "detailed oriented" in regards to my pipe smoking hobby. If you are a detail person and like making notes on stuff ...then this definitely for you.
A duffer like me ... who just likes to smoke his pipe (doesn't matter which one - although I do have my favorites) and smoke some really good tobacco. Tobacco cellars and collectible pipes just don't matter a lot to me in the final analysis.
I have recently resigned (with thanks to Carl) my position in the beta testing - so go to it Friends there is extra open space.
