Best Dunhill at Chicago Show: Cash Prize

    The Moderators for 2011 Dunhill Focus Group at the Chicago Pipe Show are Rich Esserman and Michael Reschke. The Dunhill Focus Group will meet on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at 5 pm in the Pheasant Run Mega Center.

    Presentations will be made by Rich Esserman, Jay Jones and Louise Pavonetti of Hermit Tobacco Works, and Robert Noble.

    There will be awards given for items displayed in six categories and a best of show award. The categories are as follows:
    1. Dunhill Pipe smooth finish, any stain
    2. Dunhill Pipe rough finish, any stain
    3. Dunhill item other than a pipe (humidor, tamper, leather item, pen, clothing)
    4. Dunhill, or subsidiary, made pipe not branded as Dunhill (Parker, Hardcastle, Charatan), smooth finish
    5. Dunhill, or subsidiary, made pipe not branded as Dunhill, rough finish
    6. Dunhill, or subsidiary, made item not a pipe and not branded as Dunhill (humidor, tamper etc.)
    7. Best of Show. This award will include a CASH PRIZE OF $100.00 from an anonymous sponsor!
    All judging will be done by the people attending the Dunhill Focus Group, including the participants in the display. All are invited to attend and to enter pipes and other items in the contest.

    Hmmm ... I've got some Dunhill pipes, but I bet the competition will be fierce!
