+1 on the blackhouse but don't forget about ten to midnight from H&H. It's really good and a great value. But yea blackhouse is brilliant.
I don't like Blue Mtn. either. It tastes metallic to me. Don't like Blackhouse either. To me the best are Syrian 3 Oaks, Syrian Full Balkan, Gawith & Hogarts Balkan, Stokkebyes Eng. Oriental. None of them are nearly as good as the original Sobranie.
That's the beauty of Black House. The more we want, the more Russ will make. Soon you will all be "Bleeding Black" just like me!

Just wanted to see if there was a better love.
Will buy more because I tried another & wasn't as good as Baron's recommendation/sig.

Happens to me all the time! Actually, PS Balkan Supreme is another Sobranie 759 Redux (Black House was, too) and I think it's very good.
If you want something more complex, try H&H Magnum Opus. It was the first Balkan I ever tried and it blew me away!
My 2nd place Balkan would be Charing Cross by G.L.Pease, not as good as Blackhouse but worth a try.
I haven't tried Blackhouse but you know, I think I need to.
Now if you ask me ... Sherlock Holmes Pipe Club Great Hiatus is the best. Plum Pudding and Larry's Blend are also in my top 5.
