Howdy all,

Any opinions on this brand of pipes? I'm especially thinking about the non Freehand series such as Majestic, Bare Bones, Town & Country, etc.

Thanks for your feedbacks. :D

Do they still make the Majestic line? I have 1 I bought off the Bay more than a decade ago as an estate. Don't know if it's the same line as any current production-mine was stamped hand-made in Denmark. But lovely pipe and decent smoker

Ben Wade is a brand with a convoluted history. It was originally a stand-alone brand that eventually fell under the umbrella of Charatan/Lane, and at that point their classic designs were actually a Charatan off-brand. The exception was the Danish Collection which were freehands made for them by Preben Holm. Today's Ben Wades don't resemble the past lines, but it doesn't mean that they're not good pipes.

I just bought a Ben Wade estate from Smokingpipes. I'm sure it's a Charaton 'second' Banker shape. Very nice with just a couple tiny fills for 60$. I afraid I don't know about any others than mine.
