I recently grabbed this BBB Handmade on Ebay. Normally I don't buy things I don't know much about (I have some of the 50's pipes) after learning lots of lessons on Ebay but this looked pretty cool and when I first saw it the price was $9. It's a bit if a gamble but I think I can weather the loss if needed.
The question is on dating...any idea's. I searched a bunch for BBB patent info but didn't find much. Also I dont know much about amber, does that look real? Can't wait to see it in person and see what I really got. Thanks in advance for any info, Michael.
PS got this Charatan Apple as well, Love thier tapered stems.

A shop I frequent in NY had some BBB Handmades. I never really uncovered much about them. In fact BBB info in general is slim.
An interesting pipe

A great choice on the Charatan, I also love their tapered stems.

What's the Pat. #?
It looks like a prime candidate to be one of the BBB/WDC pipes made at the College Point factory,

which would date it to a very specific era...
