I received this Baraccini pipe as part of a grab bag sampler from P&C. Would I be correct in calling it a bulldog shape, a small one? I placed it next to the the tiny MM Legend for comparison. Thanks!

I'd call it a 1/4 bent bulldog/rhodesian. Some distinguish by whether or not the shank and bowl have a crease or are rounded.

I love the shape. That's a nice 'plug' then for P&C, because that looks to be pretty nice.

Now, you are obliged to give us updates on how it's smoking and what.

That pipe does look to be some sort of hybrid. Does it 'sit'? It looks like the bowl has a flat on it but it could be my eyesight.

Most bulldogs won't sit, but they will with a little positive reinforcement.

Hey, thanks newbroom. I appreciate the info. It's a great pipe, smokes wonderfully. No filter and it doesn't sit, although there is some flatness to the bottom. I believe the stem is Vulcanite. The bowl is small...so a smoke is only 10-20 minutes, depending.
