Hello. Hope all are well. I'm a newbie at Latakia blends, but am finding myself going to them more and more. I'm going to order for the month in a week or so and am looking for some good, somewhat mild Latakia or Balkan blends. EMP by Dunhill is really good, but a little too stingy w/ the Latakia. I'm not looking for a "Lat-Bomb", just want it to be a little more forward... Love Frog Morton's Cellar if that helps. Thanks, LeRoy

If you can find any of the now discontinued "Yenidje Highlander", that is Balkan Heaven.

SG Balkan Flake. Simply the best. Close runner up - 10 to Midnight. Heart&Home has big and wonderful Balkan line up.

It's probably not the latakia in EMP that you're finding stingy. Lat should be smooth. It's probably the VAs.

Peter Stokkebye's English Oriental Supreme is quite tasty. Stokkebye's are bulk blends so you can buy an ounce or two to try and not have to commit a lot of money.

Arango balkan supreme is also a really good blend and certainly worth trying.

+1 on Bombay Court. One of my favorites.
I thought I really liked Balkan Supreme, but just had a bowl wasn't as impressed as I used to be.

Lane's "HGL"...very mild English, with just a touch of Latakia blended into the other tobaccos. Let it dry out for a few days. No burnt leather smell, either, so, it's easy on everyone's nose.
Happy hunting finding your tobaccy Nirvana.

Ah, with that in mind, I would add John Bull Royal English and Dunhill London Mixture.
