Some may have already seen this, but I just discovered it. Beautifully done.

It's a great cover. Originally, the cover was meant to be a duet with Dolores Oriordan. Upon news of her death, Bad Wolves decided to go ahead with the recording in tribute to her. I think they did a fantastic job of it, with the song itself and the video.

Very much so, Duane. I highly respect what they did with the video. They found a way to make her a part of it, though she was already gone. It shows the respect they had for her. A wonderfully done tribute.

A good cover, and as noted at the beginning of the video, Dolores O'Riordan was going to be part of the project. However, the original Cranberries video is much more evocative of what the song is actually about.

This version really grew on me, didn't care for it at first.

Did they ever say what she died of?

The cause of death was not immediately made public; police said it was not being treated as suspicious. The coroner's office said the results of its inquiry would not be released until 3 April at the earliest. On 3 April the inquest was cancelled with no new date announced.

She died very young. She was a huge talent and a powerful singer.
Seems strange to me that the cause of her death apparently remains unknown.

Found a live performance from '95 on SNL that I think is a bit better than the one I posted above:

Zombie is without a good song, and obviously what The Cranberries are most known for. But I always preferred her vocals on songs such as Dreams. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yam5uK6e-bQ

Yeah she definitely sang that one well. I’m not overly familiar with the Cranberries...I’ve only heard a handful of their songs. But Zombie is a truly great rock song, and certainly shows what they were capable of...and I always loved her accent and attitude...and unusual vocal delivery on it.
The other songs of theirs that I’ve heard don’t really appeal to me in as strong a way, but she was impressive and seemed authentic. Their drummer seemed exceptionally good also.

While I also not very familiar with the Cranberries (they were popular in a period, where we had little children, so music took a back seat for a time period), but everyone knows that song. I also wasn't familiar with the Bad Wolves. I did like that cover, thanks for sharing!
