A very lame attempt to capitalize on the whole steampunk scene. I'd like to say it won't work, but it probably has.
They could've at least put a couple gear wheels on the bowl. They barely tried.

While steampunk is certainly about artifice, and props that look functional while not literally emitting rays or actually enabling time travel, an unsmoked cob with a tassel that presents a possible ignition hazard seems a little half-hearted to me.
The copper wire "kickstand" is a nice touch, though.
