I have bought this 69 full bent billiard Peterson from a mate of mine from the local pipe smoking community. It is unsmoked, in mint condition, dating from the 1970s as per his word. I fell in love instantly. For me it can't get any more English than this. Whenever one imagines a Victorian gentlemen lunting around, I would imagine that he puffs on this little puppy. Price was more than fair ...

Well ... yeah, this one in particular is Irish. The shape itself I guess in my mind is more classic English than Irish, not to mention that during the Victorian era, Ireland was part of The United Kingdom ... shucks, you get my meaning

Enjoy it. My shape 69, a Pre-Republic Peterson's Premier Selection dates to 1947-49. It's a wonderful smoker! :)

I love a beautiful bent pipe. The ultimate for me would be a Dunhill LLC swan neck.

Your pipe is lovely, beautiful English feel, made in Ireland, shape originally designed in France! :)

...and many of the classic English shapes originated in St. Claude, so it's somewhat like today! Beautiful pipe.
