The shape is indeed wild... futuristic without being excessive. That's what I like about it, it's modern without being "mod"... it still has a classic look.

Sorry, I guess I'm the odd man out here, but the look of that does not appeal to me at all for a pipe...looks like a door handle off of an old station wagon or something. I guess I'm too traditional when it comes to pipe shapes & styles.

I'm with Brian on this one. To me, it looks like something some CEO of a giant company would have on his desk thinking it was some high dollar art-deco pen holder. [Not that there's anything wrong with CEO's of giant companies having art-deco pen holders on their desks :P ]

I wonder if you're supposed to hold it like you would hold a saddle horn, except in reverse. Like hold the bottom like an ice cream cone.
