Are these related to our beloved hobby by chance?

I have no idea what these are. They were in a lot of pipe stuff that I picked up at an estate/antique store. The are made of plastic and are 6" long. The one end is pointed the other end has a flat head screw driver slot. There are also 5-6 threads just under the screw head type top. Any info would be much appreciated.

I wish I could be of help, but I can't see any pictures... My work computer likes to block images sometimes. It sounds kind of like a keep-dry match container. Best of luck.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say those are not pipe related... but I could be wrong. Just guessing here.

I agree with sparks. I think these were filed in with someone's pipe accessories, maybe as makeshift
pipe nails, but I don't think they were made for the purpose. Maybe someone used them to clean
shanks? Or maybe they are just stray hardware. I will be surprised if someone can associate them
    with pipes otherwise.
