This question is for the mates across the Pond. Does anyone remember when those delightful pictures meaning to scare us (but not working at all, I reckon) were enforced on tobacco tins & pouches?

Was it 2016?

Thanks. :puffy:

Thanks.

What about the previous warnings, with the "Smoking Kills" and the like? Anyone remembers when they were introduced? :)

There is a curious post-script to all this: the regulations about warnings are EU directives. Once Brexit happens, it is arguable that UK manufacturers will no longer be obligated to keep them. I think probably they will, but it is just one of thousands of little legal things that will kick in when the UK withdraws from the EU.

The official date is next March - however, it is accepted that there will be some kind of transition period of a couple of years.
