Anyone Know Anything About Clyde "Mac" Mcguire?

I just picked this up on smokingpipes.

Figured I should buy it first before asking anyone as I didnt want to lose it

I like horns and the fact that the bottom was plateaued really struck me.
I found a little bit of info on pipedia but that was all. Just curious if anyone else has any of his other pipes or knows anything about him?

I was hoping some of the old timers might be able to shed any light. I've got a Paul Perri from that era as well. I just think it's kind of cool to have some pipes from the guys that came before the recent explosion in American pipe makers.

Apparently Mac owned the College Pipe Shop in Ames, Iowa, and sold it in 1945.
