Wondering if anyone would be interested in a group by for Germaine Special Latakia Flake again? Trying to work out a deal again with my supplier in Germany. The last one went well and I could use more as I am sure others could also.

If I can get people wanting 36 tins then yes. I have to order 18 at a time and I am getting 5 Latakia flake. So far i am up to 10 Latakia flake. I can get medium, brown, and Latakia.

Looking around 16-17 per tin depending on how many ordered. Through facebook got 17 of latakia flake. That makes 22 Latakia and 6 brown.

Also I am not making anything on these. Have to pay for shipping from Europe which is around 25.00 for 1kg.

Thanks for the offer but I've thought about it awhile and I just have too many Latakia blends on hand and I really shouldn't get anymore as I'm not a big fan of how they age.

What he said! Nothing quite like it. An awesome smoke, and I talked to the distributor here in the States (Arango) and they haven't received any since April 2015. People will take it off your hands in an instant if it's not your cup of tea.

Hawky, I believe you're thinking of Rich Dark Flake, for the Stonehaven comparison.

I agree. Most people think Rich Dark Flake might even be Stonehaven, while others think there's a slight different. Brown Flake is very different from Stonehaven, but Stonehaven is my favorite smoke, and Brown Flake is probably in my top 5.
