Yes, we had a florist selling flowers at my workplace, so I bought some, to pick up when the day was over. As I got home, I remembered the flowers. Called my boss and asked for someone to take care of them.
My wife found this funny. I will of course need to get more now.

Ah, the old "I left 'em at work!" trick. Classic. :P
Just teasing. :) It's good at least that she thought it was funny.
As long as you didn't forget the chocolate you should be golden. Good luck!

I've heard these stories...I have never worked at a company where vendors or sales type people had access to the employees. Even the parking lot is marked "employees only" and security would ask any vendors to leave. And, no, it is not a high security kinda place, just a software developer.

I work in a four story building for a bank. The top three floors are secured. The bottom floor has cafeteria and training areas. Vendors occasionally can set up a table or two in the cafeteria area.

No flowers for my wife today. I did however send a card and hand made gift. She said she liked it so here is to hoping...
