Blackpool is delicious. Dry it. It was a now deceased friend’s every day smoke. Grabbed many a bowl from his pouch. Still can’t smoke it without bringing back bittersweet memories. Passed way too young.
I've been in love with Blackpool for years. But I also discovered Ramsgate and Woodsbridge, which are similar. I haven't had Woodsbridge in a while but I have a half a pound put up, but Ramsgate I have about 4oz open and go to it quit frequently. I think it might have a little more licorice flavor than Blackpool, but I've never done a close comparison.

Yes, Blackpool and Woodbridge especially. I also get a fleeting blueberry aroma and taste from Woodbridge.
I bought 2 bags of Blackpool and jarred it a couple of years ago, and it all molded over within months. YMMV
