It seems a sticky thread for identifying pipes might be an idea, but in the absence of such I'll have to stick it here.
I'm intrigued by the white chamber and find myself at a loss as to what the material may be (ceramic?). I've tried to get a shot of the stem marking, but the images were taken directly off the TV screen so not the best quality. The film is from the mid 70s if that helps.

Very wecome. You get the smoking characteristics of a meerschaum with the grain aesthetic of a briar. Not a bad combination but you lose the opportunity of watching the meer as it changes color.

If I'm perfectly honest I'm not keen on the appearance at all.
No idea of the stem marking, then? When watching it directly it's a little clearer. The best way I can describe it, is to say it looks like a shield of some kind.

Mmm, didn't realise there were so many manufacturers used a shield as their maker's mark.
Not that important - just wondered if it jumped out to anyone.

NASA likes meerschaum for its’ light weight and insulating properties...

So it also helps keep your pipe bowl from becoming too hot to handle...

I have one that I still enjoy using from time to time, stamped “MEERLINED” and “ITALY”

Probably made by Gigi Pipes in Varese. It was later picked up on and marketed by “Dr. GRABOW
